My Co is based in Cali and PA local taxes are not taken out. My wife teaches in the next town over and her's are not either. PA just changed that so it will be taken out for 2013. its 1% of the net. i right off part of my home(home office) on my local but not fed, to many red flags. i used to when i was 100% commission. i'd hate to lose my mortgage int. right off, donations etc. but .... i wish these Fers would just wake up and go Sales tax or Flat tax. It's all about eye to word configuration. We don't read letters we read words and capitalized text has less differentiation which makes it enormously more difficult to digest. What's new news is how every day it seems more chaos and unsavory actions surface that demonstrates how the 2nd Congressional District of Illinois just seems doomed to consistently deliver corrupt or disconnected candidates for election. Mel Reynolds - they guy Jesse Jackson replaced because he was dipping his wick in the too young female pool - is asking for a second chance Lest you forget who Reynolds replaced, Gus Savage, a man from the era of racist black men who hate Jews and who was known to make unwanted advances toward women. So if you're keeping track, that goes all the way back 30 years now that the 2nd Congressional District has had a corrupt pol in office. Now the latest kerfuffle: State Senator Donne Trotter attempts to board a plane at O'Hare with a handgun and a loaded clip in his bag. (An honest mistake? Probably, but this is from a man who as a State Senator has extensively and vocally lobbied to stop concealed handguns and the sale of handguns). Right call of the Republicans to hold her feet to the fire and somewhere I read that ultimately the Republican Senators' concern was that she was more of a political operative than a principal. And this I wholeheartedly agree with. Forget about Benghazi, Rice doesn't have the credibility and stature to step into the role of SoS. She hasn't earned the right to that position. I find the conclusions of the USA Today article an interesting dilemma for Obama. He may think that tossing Rice overboard allows him the leverage and energy to focus on economic issues, but if I were his counterpart in negotiations, I too would conclude that he's allowing himself to be in a weaker negotiating position than he should be given his reelection.
