over the number of billions people on earth, compared to our 300mill pop. we need that many weapons?

shameful for the greatest country on earth to behave this way.

yeah, we don't have a gun problem:

yesterday in CHI.

Police arrested 56-year-old Reginald Hardaman for panhandling yesterday near the intersection of Chicago Avenue and Wells Street. After Hardaman was handcuffed and placed in the police car, he pulled out a gun and fired through the front seat. The police got our of the car and returned fire as it rolled down the street. A 37-year-old policeman was in good condition after being treated for a gunshot in the back. His 60-year-old partner was treated for cuts on his hands.

This only happened yesterday if today was 23 February 2011 - surely there are more recent events to point at?

i googled< shootings yesterday.. and that came up.

but does it really matter when?

No, cause it was a shitty example.

I don't get why you care how many guns are here. How many gun OWNERS are here would be a more interesting number. I still don't care, but it'd make a little better of a point. Go grab the dumbest state's gun ownership data and try to prove to me that the bottom feeders are all armed.

blame blame blame.

if guns weren't everywhere, this wouldn't have happened.period.

We've covered this already; utopian idea. Besides, if those cops didn't check him for guns when they are "everywhere", you think they would have checked after we got rid of them? You can't "get rid of guns", start proposing control methods.
Uh huh. For a fact, huh?
He welcomes your challenge  Fill your will out first.

i have:

carry ins on all weapons in home.

increase cost of ammo

dramatic jail time for possession of illegal gun

buy back program, then turns to illegal possession

Cool off period thats more than 2 weeks

no walking out of gun show with gun.

Hold gun/ammo manu. responsible for use.

Whats the point of insurance on something you are making illegal?

All the rest are in place already in most states.

I don't get this either. There's a petition out there to enforce liability insurance as mandatory for all owners of guns. Such that if your gun is used in a shooting then the lawyers have something to go after money wise. Supposedly since you're paying that premium I guess you would be more careful in the storage and handling of that gun? I dunno.
