Not that it will actually prevent crazy civilians from doing any more mass shootings, but for the effect it will have on Americans at least thinking something is being done. Whats funny is I know several people sitting on 10+ receivers just waiting for the AWB to pass so they can sell their weapons on CL for massive profits. Currently its pretty hard to buy a AW illegally because everyone is in acquisition mode. Once AWB passes there will be a flood in the market.
