I can write a thousand pages on why I'll never own a Glock. Main reason is I won't carry a striker fire, but there are are several other. If you like Glock though, they are fine if you train on them and are used to them. FYI military went with Sig. As for Glock 19 though, think more like Glock 42. 19 is a PITA to carry. Compacts tend to get left at home and are very hard to conceal in summer. Sub-combacts are where its at. Glock 42 is a .380... it gets the job done but not a fan, but there are other caliber guns in that range.

My usual EDC is this P938. Its 9mm and will handle +p

Size wise, its about the size of your wallet. I can just carry it in my front pocket and not have to deal with holster or gunbelt.

Throw out suicide. Now look at violent gun crime. It’s at a 50 year low *1. Of if you want to be fair look at murder rates. Yes ours is screaming high by guns but lower than average as a whole. I mean who’s gonna use a bat when guns are everywhere!

People that want to kill are going to kill,  for some reason here they're picking guns to do it.  We have a problem with society and violence in general and people are fixating on the tool used to do it.  I could be wrong, but if you take what is perceived as the easiest tool out of the equation they'll move on to the second easiest.  So, we ban rifles and people start using pistols instead.  Ban those and then we're back to bombs and cars.  Of course we go back to laws, which only the law-abiding actually go by so at that point the only people with guns will be the ones that have zero intentions of obeying any laws.

I'd rather use a car if I wanted to take out a crowd just out of ease and laziness.   If I were to pick a gun I surely wouldn't use any sort of rifle.  Lugging a rifle around with a bunch of loaded magazines is a pain in the ass and way too obvious, probably even moreso for these 140lb kids doing this stuff.

Not being a conspiracy guy here...but I've always wondered how these guys that are 5'6" and all of a 140# are able to just waltz right into a school with a loaded rifle and a handful of loaded magazines and seemingly go unnoticed until they start.

He took an Uber with a rifle case that said it was a rifle on the side to a school. Sadly that’s how he did it. Uber driver is apparently a moron.

Haha so it's not just me. I can't imagine how often it would dump on me if I practiced drawing and firing - my buddy told me not to be a klutz of which I followed up with "I truly hope then it never happens to you" - he hasn't drawn and fired yet either... NEVER want to be scrambling picking up a magazine off the ground.

Havent taken any targets home yet honestly. I have absolutely nothing to show, yet. I'm sure I will soon start to record a bit - distance/gun/ammo used.

In other news - went to the local shop during my lunch break and held a P938 - I dont know if it's for me. Although beautiful and fit well, I am not trained or comfortable enough carrying single action-cocked and locked... I would need to handle this gun more to decide for sure. And new I think it was $750 :(

The dealer I spoke with was a glock fan boy so I listened - I honestly liked the 46 (dont know gen) but its got some shit I am not sure about too. I will rent some more again soon and keep trying some 9's before I buy! :)

FYI glocks are always cocked and they have no manual safety. There is a reason for so many NDs involving glocks. As far as one in the pipe, off duty I seldom carry with one in. Use common sense. 99.999% of the time your threat level is zero. Carrying condition 3 is fine. If you are in parking garage or something, by all means lock and load in the car. At 3m I’m still well under 1.5s to third shot on empty chamber from draw. As for the 938, you can buy them all day long for 550.

Shot the P938 last night. I liked it a lot. A tad too small for my big ass hands. It is very similar to the Kimber Micro 9 which I only handled before never shot.

Checked out the new 365 - apparently these are extremely popular at the moment. I like that its got a 10 round mag.

Shot the Glock 43 - It was nice, but I wouldn't want to carry it.

I just need to buy something now lol.
