Che'_Moderator Posted December 17, 2012 Author Report Posted December 17, 2012 What is gunshow loop hole? You keep mentioning it, but I have no idea what it is.
Burn-E Posted December 17, 2012 Report Posted December 17, 2012 Thats what I was getting at. Its commonly excepted the most common pistol in the US is the M1911. Its 9 rounds. Lots of revolvers are 8 rounds. Does 1 round make it that much more dangerous? In the case of the desert eagle, its only a 6 round magazine. Thats a pet peeve btw. I do not know of any pistol to ever use a clip. Yeah, yeah, I was thinking of speed loaders for the cylinder - I know rifles much better than I do pistols and revolvers.
flyfishing3 Posted December 17, 2012 Report Posted December 17, 2012 why do you need hollow points? why in the world do you need teflon coated IE COP KILLERS.
550 Posted December 17, 2012 Report Posted December 17, 2012 Not to mention a single action revolver can be shot pretty quickly... pull and go.
Burn-E Posted December 17, 2012 Report Posted December 17, 2012 3 buy backs, you are now a felon. This is just what the survivalists are waiting for unfortunately. The minute this happens is when they all hole up and start planning their real assaults (rather than just dreaming about it and preparing for it) on a government that has taken away their Right. It will not end well.

flyfishing3 Posted December 17, 2012 Report Posted December 17, 2012 U.S. federal law requires persons engaged in interstate firearm commerce, or those who are "engaged in the business" of dealing firearms, to hold a Federal Firearms License and perform background checks through the National Instant Criminal Background Check System maintained by the FBI prior to transferring a firearm. Under the terms of the Firearm Owners Protection Act of 1986, however, individuals "not engaged in the business" of dealing firearms, or who only make "occasional" sales within their state of residence, are under no requirement to conduct background checks on purchasers or maintain records of sale (although even private sellers are forbidden under federal law from selling firearms to persons they have reason to believe are felons or otherwise prohibited from purchasing firearms).
Burn-E Posted December 17, 2012 Report Posted December 17, 2012 why do you need hollow points? why in the world do you need teflon coated IE COP KILLERS. Police use them for their stopping power and because they limit impact on bystanders due to staying within the initial target and not going through. Why anyone else needs them? Good question. Hunters don't want them because they destroy the meat.
Che'_Moderator Posted December 17, 2012 Author Report Posted December 17, 2012 why do you need hollow points? why in the world do you need teflon coated IE COP KILLERS. You want hollow point. FMJ military style rounds will go through and through. IE dangerous for anyone behind anything to include most walls. HPs blow apart after a few layers of drywall. WTF is a teflon cop killer? Where do you get this stuff?U.S. federal law requires persons engaged in interstate firearm commerce, or those who are "engaged in the business" of dealing firearms, to hold a Federal Firearms License and perform background checks through the National Instant Criminal Background Check System maintained by the FBI prior to transferring a firearm. No. Anyone selling at a table has to have an FFL. Those are not private individuals. By the nature they have paid for a table, they are no engaged in business. And the BATFE does spot check vendors.
