Hey, maybe I missed it, but does this just snap on top of the old one or do we take off the old one and install this one in its place?

It goes on top of the existing dash. I used plastic weld epoxy to stick it on and it has been solid for a year already. If you just want it as a cosmetic thing it's easier to attach it with 3m double sided automotive tape

Got mine yesterday... havent fitted anything, just opened the box.

Got to be honest, the packing, and plastic quality was very nice in my opinion, this is a great fix for most of our dashes!

my only complaint and im sorry:

why not have the R cutout face out the car instead of to the driver... i personally think I will just fill mine in with some stuff and re-paint. What paint did you use for these again?

I tried it the other way on one of the prototypes and it somehow didn't look right to me, but I guess its a personal thing. I used SEM Landau black paint as the final color coat, if you want to change it around.

Please put my name down for one with the R.

Took my dash apart to replace the odometer gears, and when I removed the top dash pad, part of mine just crumbled :(

All you had to do was this....

1. Boxpin - 1 +R

2. Bah - 1 +R

3. Gage - 1 No R

4. Dougy - 2 + R

5. johnwatjr - 1 +R
