I spoke to him the other night, there will most likey be a update with in the next couple days..

Ok so I fine tuned some of the lines and sorted out my vendor status. I should be able to send these out to get CNC'd this week. With the number of people interested I think the first batch will be for 850's only. I'll post up an update once they are cut, and then make a new thread. The X70 one will come soon after I can get my hands on one to mock up and measure.

Final prototype is back from cutting and it fits perfect. The first set should be cut and ready for paint this week.

You were saying that we need to put a rubber seal/strip towards the front of the piece or something, right? or can we go without that?

You can go without it, but I had a crack extending there too so I covered it up with rubber weatherstripping like this from Home Depot.
