revolvolution09 Posted December 22, 2012 Report Posted December 22, 2012 Well my abs/ trac off light been on for a year or so. I went to pull it yourself jy today and got two modules out for free basically. One i got out from 850 and other one from s70. I came home and installed one, and lights still on. Ill try other one tomo, so hope light will go away. If light still stays on, what can it be then?

Matty Moo Posted December 22, 2012 Report Posted December 22, 2012 With a jy unit you have a 50/50 chance of it working or not. If you have a meter you can check continuity to each sensor through the head of the harness.

You have to get the same module, there are two, one with tracs, one without. Both cars had trac switch, i had to make sure before i pulled them off.

Both cars had trac switch, i had to make sure before i pulled them off. Yes, you need to drive it. It took about a half mile for the light to go out the last time that I repaired one.
