I was on the highway in the travel lane, some "joe schmo" pulls next to me in his camaro ss w/ white wheels, he must have seen me laughing. I down shift to third, and he floors it, i catch his pull and walk by him probablly by a car, he gets mad and hits his brakes when i started going by. Second race I lined up again, i saw the look on this guys face it was priceless... except this time, he opened his electronic exhaust cutout... seems sketchy when that happened, stuff just got real. took off, at this point i cant hear my car anymore and im 3 straight pipe turbo back. Brad850 Posted July 10, 2013 Report Share Posted July 10, 2013 Brand new bmw 3 series vert coming home from work 2 lane road no one else. Flew by me and then the light turned red up ahead. I didn't do anything until I realized he was. I never really start races. Was about to pass his front bumper steadily pulling on him but I let off and he kept going like an ass. 5 minutes later I realized I was in econ mode. I should really take the Swedespeed stickers off my car so people aren't misled to believe it's not stock. That way he'd know that he was torn up above 55mph by a stock Volvo wagon. rcstdad Posted August 6, 2013 Report Share Posted August 6, 2013 So, mixed it up with a brand new Lotus Evora on the way to work this morning. I doubt it was an S model, but that'd be sweet if it was! Anyways, I was behind him @ a stop light; not really sure if he was going to be game or not. When the light turned green, he pulled off quick like, so I did as well. Right as I started changing lanes, he gunned it. ( I was about 2 lengths behind when he did this). I had a little left in 1st, then went to 2nd and gained about 1.5 lengths, so he's still about a half-car up. At this point, I was barely creeping up on him, but I let out towards the top of 3rd. The road we were on is notorious for being patrolled. I think if we were to have had a more equal jump, and the cars to have been equally lined up, it would have had different results. I was happy with how my car did. The Lotus driver wouldn't even look at me when I tried to give him a thumbs-up. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I wasn't sure if he was going to do anything because he was middle aged and had his wife/sister/I don't know in the passenger seat. I pulled out at a decent pace but by no means wide open, and shift into second at which point he flies by me and I buried it. Put about 3 car lengths on him before I let off at the top of third. I was very impressed, those things from what I understand are rather quick. I gave him the thumbs up and he gave one back with a smile on his face. He wasn't a sore loser, and that was pretty cool.
