Having been in contact with a few businesses (mainly food) they have expressed not really wanting us to meet in their parking spots mainly due to the amount of parking it would take up for the course of a few hours. But they have expressed that if we wanted to show up to eat then we are more then welcome (of course because were spending money ) We wanted to do an IKEA meet but they have expressed a very firm stand on not letting us. But if we just happen to leave the meet and cruise there and stop for food or to shop I cant see them being able to throw us out curious to see if you guys would be interested in doing something of the following. 1. 9 - 9:30am Meet up at park for main meet, do some raffling and perhaps trophies. 11:30 wrap up main meet and head to pre selected lunch restaurant(s). After, everyone cruise over to IKEA for a few. 2. 9 - 9:30am Meet up at park for main meet, do some raffling and perhaps trophies. 11:30 wrap up main meet and cruise to IKEA for a few. after, everyone can either head over for food to some restaurant, or we could eat at IKEA (never done that before so idk what they have), or everyone could go their separate ways. 3. 9 - 9:30am Meet up at park for main meet, do some raffling and perhaps trophies. 11:30 wrap up main meet and cruise to IKEA for lunch and shopping/browsing, and just all park near each other . (hell we could probably get them on bored with this just by telling them we are just making it a pit stop for a couple hours, and not a full on meet) Looking for some input from the locals, but I do not mind input from out of staters who have some experience in meet planning. Voca and VSA will no doubt be out so itll be good. Last yrs Orlando GTG drew around 40 cars, so it was a decent turn out and you can see why the restaurants are iffy on giving up most of their parking spots. Other details. Like last year this will be in March, or early April on a weekend, due to SOWO and Carlisle being in May, if anyone has a problem with it, speak up. In April, I can make it the weekend of 13th and the 27th. If you dont want me there then choose the other weekends. Few of the guys are saying if they are not cool with having meets not to press them by just showing up. Which I understand. Those guys are pussies. What happens if you press Ikea?
