revolvolution09 Posted January 18, 2013 Report Posted January 18, 2013 So my bosch 15738 came today so now im scratching my head how to wire it. Wires on it are two whites, one gray and one black. I know i should have paid little more to get the one that is plug n play one but wallet is a bit thin now days. Im tired of getting 11mpg driving to work. Any help will be apreciated.

Save as much as you can from the old sensor wire , cut , make sure put the white and black to the correct counterpart (white do not mater), seal well and you done. PS: spray some WD40 ahead of time on the old sensor and disconnect the neg on the battery.

revolvolution09 Posted January 20, 2013 Author Report Posted January 20, 2013 Installed sensor and so far no cel and exhaust dont smell rich. Hope it stays that way. When i was under the car, i saw two o2 sensors before cat and there is no o2 sensor after cat. Why no o2 sensor after cat?
Dick Dastardly Posted January 20, 2013 Report Posted January 20, 2013 The stock o2 setup is bank one on the DP and the "rear" , bank 2 is threaded into the cat body.

burnout8488 Posted January 21, 2013 Report Posted January 21, 2013 The O2 sensor comes with very detailed instructions for attaching the quick connect thing, it works great when followed perfectly. Did you misplace the pamphlet?

Did you misplace the pamphlet? My did not come with one, so i had to go to bosch website to verify wiring.
