Dick Dastardly
Made you open the thread... Anyway, just a pinewood car I am working on with my 7 yr old for cubscouts Start with this: couple hours of cutting and sanding: Mock up on wheels: Going to seal and paint it tomorrow at my place. I have a driver and a steering wheel for it too. Should be pretty good when done

NEU
Very nice MIke! I built mine with my dad as flat as I could and glued a tire weight inside of it, used graphite on the axles... Then painted it blue with gold strips.... Can't remember how I placed with it though....
Dick Dastardly
lower it. I'd get pegs for it too..but BSA regulations prohibit them.
Gideon35T
Ahhh, ya got me. Nice work though. I built one probably 15 years ago or so. Learned quick that the graphite for the axles is a must.
Burn-E
You just described my precise car the last run I did in Cub Scouts. Except I drilled 4 insert holes along the top of the body and dropped round flat fishing weights in and then covered it TBrick style with silver duct tape. Very nice MIke! I built mine with my dad as flat as I could and glued a tire weight inside of it, used graphite on the axles... Then painted it blue with gold strips.... Can't remember how I placed with it though....
