Downloaded TunerStudio.

The s70manual.bin from the first post

And the XDF from the first post. (Unknown DAMOS Definition.xdf)

Some values in the ignition map are reading zero and a few other maps seemed to be messed up. Could you have posted the wrong XDF?

Also fuel cut off is already at 255??

What is wrong with that ignition map? The zeros are there because it is low load, therefore no timing advance. Not something I would program myself, but could help with emissions.

Like I said earlier there are different .bin versions. Some have extra code, some have less. They all have the same basic structure with the same important maps, but since the amount of code is different the maps change locations. You need the corresponding .xdf for the file you are looking at.

I'm not sure how many different binary structures there are, but they are labeled by what DAMOS they are referenced by. In some binaries the DAMOS version is just in plain ASCII text, but in some I cannot find it. Therefore I'm not sure how many different DAMOS versions there are, or which bin corresponds to which DAMOS.

I'm still updating the xdf's, I will get some new ones up later in the week.

Hmmm... that is different. Can you get the datasheet on the chip in the far bottom right corner? It isn't on any S70/C70/V70/850 ECU's I've seen.

I'll have a closer look later to see where it connects.

It might be a 4-gate power driver. Intersil CA3272A on alldatasheet.com

so i see youve got sas and evap fixed, how goes the A/C ?

The CA3272 chip seems to be connected to the ECU connector pins A1, B38 and two times B41.

On the 960 wiring only B38 is shown.

B38 Control signal pulsed secondary air injection system (PAIR) pump relay

On other diagrams B41 is "Control signal, turbocharger (TC) control valve"

we should pool our money and buy this guy something...... honestly... this is a HUGE step for the FWD 5cyl volvo tuning community

id be willing to toss some money at this to motivate further i like that this guy is trying to help the community develop.

Same! id throw like 20 bucks his way if i can flash a stock 4.4 manual tune on my car for free
