winterhalo
How about option #4. Get a pair of used Nivomats from a breaker or junk yard? . so now my options: 1. Replace the Air shocks AND Springs with the aforementioned parts 2. Replace ONLY the Springs and continue using the Air Shocks 3. Do nothing and hate driving my car lol
lookforjoe
Again, option 2 is not an option. If the car is bouncing, your shocks are doing jack shit.
troyhyde
Chimed in earlier in the thread, since it is 2 years old. I think this might be a ghost thread haunting the site. Got an XC myself that the original Nivo's crapped out on (one leaking, the other not controlling the spring / floppy). Car had 155k. Put a used set of Nivo's on and the car rides beautifully again. I've had a bunch of "traditional" suspension Volvo's and I think the Nivo's ride better than all of them. Car has IPD front/rear sways.
SVTGuy02
I want to avoid spending $500 on JUST rear shocks..... those Nivo's are expensive and hard to tell if they are almost out. Pick-n-pull just closed down in Vancouver so we're stuck with all the Rip off auto wreckers...... I might just go with the complete aformentioned set from this thread.... shocks and struts.... Thanks for the input PS. Anyone wanna buy some AIR Shocks?! lol!
Tightmopedman9
You can get a non adjustable version of the shock I am running for fairly cheap.
