I find it interesting that not a single one of these topics has been brought up in Volvospeed Political Discussions.

I think the IRS scandal is by far the biggest smoking gun of how freaking shady Obama is.

IRS apologizes for targeting conservative groups.

IRS workers' union chief met with Obama the day before the inquisition and persecution of Tea Party & other conservative groups began.

IRS Chief Counsel used to represent Jeremiah Wright

Talk about an attack on the free press but of course this is business as usual right?

Gov't obtains wide AP phone records in probe.

Obama DOJ formally accuses journalist in leak case of committing crimes.

Then Bengazi? I think you guys already know...

Talk about the perfect storm... Regardless Obama could have sex with a child on camera on the white house lawn and he wouldn't have any consequences. That being said I still found this image funny..

i've been heavily traveling and haven't been able to dive as deep as i usually like to.(actually traveling now)

the IRS. not a big deal to me. BIg picture- i pay what i'm supposed to. small picture. you had a couple rogue people. BO not involved.

Benghazi=CIA spy house. not an embassy. the REP cut the budget for protection and the blood is on their hands. Bo not involved and Clinton fairly clean in all of that.

AP deal. there is a constant abuse of our rights with cell phone taping, internet monitoring, camera's everywhere. If you aren't doing anything illegal, you have nothing to fear. BUT, i do agree this is the most egregious.

The IRS targeting an organization specifically by name which characterizes its politics? Using our tax authority to silence political opposition? Mike, that's fairly egregious.

And especially since there appears to be a direct link between the National Treasury Employees Union President, Colleen Kelley who met with President Obama just a day before members the Acting Manager of the Technical Unit at the IRS decided it was necessary to open a Sensitive Case Report on the Tea Party. This through a union that is publicly proclaimed as anti-Tea Party through both their politics, their campaign contributions, and their leaders' statements.

Then you have Woodward and Bernstein, yes those Watergate reporters, explaining that the administration's actions in handling the Benghazi communications and talking points is absolutely Nixonian.

Benghazi is overblown. That shit happened all the time under Bush with more people killed, but where was the conservative outrage then?

IRS: Their mistake was targeting one side when they should have been doing the extra scrutiny on all of them. No "scandal" then. Political fund raising groups do not get tax exempt status, but it is clear that is the main purpose of these groups.

AP: I don't think we have all the info on this yet. Didn't Bush legalize this, or was that just wire taps without warrant?

Yes the attacks happened while W was President. What didn't happen was an administration just weeks before an election recrafting the story put out by the CIA and the State Department on what exactly happened. And acting like it was old news after the truth came out.

IRS: that's one way of spinning it, but the difference is they didn't target both sides of the aisle. Instead they went after anyone who disagreed with the administration. As Arsenio Hall used to say:

It doesn't Erik, go back to sleep. ;)

But stop and consider, the claim is made that there's no way the President and his administration sicced the attack dogs (the IRS) on his opponents but when you look at how the campaign was run last year, they specifically named high profile contributors to the Republican campaign and called them out as participating in dirty business.

So Frank VanderSloot coincidentally gets audited not once, but twice for the first time in 30 years after he is identified by the Obama 2012 campaign. And then they go on to call out how under Citizens United was allowing all kinds of nefarious groups to fund campaigns and ads against Democratic candidates. Funny, he didn't mention the same was happening against the Republican candidates? Strange, I wonder if George Soros or Russell Simmons or Quincy Jones or the Center for American Progress or MoveOn or America Coming Together were similarly audited?

I'm wide awake, no need to be pretentious.

Benghazi - Arguably one of the most dangerous places in the world full of people who hate America, and our poorly guarded embassy was attacked, and the state department did not know immediately why. Shocker.

IRS - Conservative tea party 501 c 4 groups whose sole purpose is to stop people from getting taxed, is looked at closely by the IRS. Unbelievable.

AP - The press getting pissed because the patriot act applies to them as well? WTF?!!

This isn't scandalous news, its entertainment between elections. All of this has happened before.

I liked your original comment better before you revised and added (must have hit a nerve ):

"I'm wide awake that's why this doesn't affect me."

And it looks like you've got the Administration's talking points down so clearly you've been paying attention.

My comment could only be pretentious if it wasn't accurate.
