I think it might be a mistrial right now. The state doesn't have a case at all he will be acquitted. There whole argument for the states current line of questioning seems to be an effort to make the case that if GZ's injuries were not life threatening he could not have been in fear for his life. Sooo.... because he knows the law, he's guilty of something he otherwise wouldn't be guilty of if he wasn't aware of the specifics of the law? The State is arguing that understanding your right to self defense and an interest in law enforcement is evidence of murder. That is a real strong case When he is acquitted he needs to strike first in the civil case and take the state and TM's family to court for defamation of character, pain and suffering and of course a 9mm bullet. 4 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Everyone is screaming they should just charge him with manslaughter and let it go. Manslaughter would probably carry a longer or same jail sentence then murder 2 in FL. I think its funny how even the state basically agrees that it was Trayvon on top and he probably started it. Their new theory is that he could not finish it. Good for morning LULZ. Because they're definitely playing the "let's throw everything and then some at the wall and see if anything sticks" strategy and it's going over like a wet fart in a crowded elevator. In BLDR's closing yesterday, in which he was attempting to convince the jury that the state had proven guilt beyond reasonable doubt, he said this. “We don’t know what happened” “No one can be sure”. I know some brilliant state and district attorneys - but this guy in Florida, de la Rionda - stupidity does not begin to define him.
