960 Power Brake Booster Seal, Installation

The car is a 1995 960, 2.9L non-turbo. My brake booster has an apparent leak (I can hear a hissing under brake application, and there's no reserve with the engine off). I decided to look closer by separating the master cylinder from the booster. It looks like someone omitted the rubber seal that belongs between the booster and the master cylinder. Without the seal, it's impossible to know if that's the sole leak, or if the diaphram is compromised too. I have discovered that the seal comes with the booster, but I hate to go all the way with booster replacement until I know more. Is there anywhere the seal could be obtained by itself?

As a newcomer to Volvos, I don't have any service manuals yet. How tough of a job is it to remove and replace the booster if I need to? At a glance it looks like the attachment points are high up, behind the dash. This booster is the 8" version. Is there anywhere I could find a pdf the job?

This is my first post aside from a newbie introduction. Thanks in advance for any insight you can offer.
