4Th Annual R-Bq Or Neu Haus Gtg Aug. 17Th Vienna, Va

NEU

Unless anyone disagrees, I guess we'll grill, I've got 2 grills and plenty of propane. So we'll need burgers, dogs, brats, buns, chips/dips, CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES, "drinks", I've got some leftover stuff in the beer fridge that you all are welcome too.

I have a Giant, Whole Foods and Harris Tetter very close so we can make a run and get things. And if anyone would like to bring any local delicacy that you would like to share, that's OK too.

If it's nice out we can hang in the backyard, I can pull the fence so we can park in the yard. Or we can hang in the garage and laugh at the guy wrenching something wrong... Sounds like we've got 2 intake installs.

i got some wisconsin blood in me, so I better handle the brats.

Me too! Dad is from Racine, home of Johnsons Wax, IG Case, Dremal, Oster, Insinkerator.... But he's more of a kebob guy and less brats..

Im down to just get there a bit early then make a run as needed. and yep if all goes well ill have a nice intake to put in :)

That's cool. If any of you guys want to come early. You can littery walk to the Giant from my house, I'd suggest driving. It's just quicker...

Are you talking about food or the participants? rimshot

Neu, do you typically hold these R-BQs in the same time frame every year?

I should plan for next year or the year after that, to spend a week or two traveling the NEC and visiting both family and friends... and make this GTG one of the stops of course! :D

Yep every August at my house since I moved there in '09. The first one I started planning 10 days after we got the house and had the GTG a month after moving it. The AC controler died the day before the GTG and we had no AC. And we all watched Dave do his inner and outer tirerods in the 427R...

We'll look forward to you visiting next year.... ^_^

The kegs have been dropped off to my homebrew buddy to be fill! If everything goes to plan the brew on tap is Blind Dirty Bimbo....

So we should take a head count and finger out what everyone is bringing.

Brian is bringing the Brickerator so he is off the hook for the food stuff. I just hope the car starts...

What is that? A blonde pale ale?

I can bring whatever, Neu, perhaps a case of water is in order.

I was talking to Tyler about a shop up his way that had good sausage/brats as well... that's where we met last year before coming up.

Phil it's up to you. Both will be acceptable! ^_^

So 5 Days left!!! This Saturday!!! Contact me if you need address info or have anyother questions!

So little update, the Brew has been kegged. My buddy keeps warning me he's got no clue how it's going to be, but he's VERY good and I trust it will be drinkable...:lol: The only thing we need to do for him is Like his beer on Facebook. Not sure if he's coming but I invited him and some other Subaru guys that really want to check out the Volvos, OK mostly Brians Volvo when they heard what was being brewed and how it was being served.

So the only one to drop out so far is Howard. But he's got a VERY good excuss. New job at the Volvo Dealer in VA Beach! Congrads Howard! When I'm down in that neck of the woods and need work... ;):P Biggest issue with Howard bailing is one of you Md guys needs to bring me my case of Boh! :glare: Seriously! ;)
