adamjjohn203
Looking to add some more sidewall in my life. I have a nice set of 18" Nebula reps with great tires on my V70 now and I am contimplating making the switch back to 17's in good condition with good tires. Let me know if you are interested. SonaR
235/45/17 97Y Do we have the same bolt pattern/hub size, you have spacers?
adamjjohn203
Hub and bolt pattern is the same all I run is rear 5mm spacers. Not sure I can fit that tire size in my wells....let me do some searching.
adamjjohn203
Eh....I think 225/45 is the biggest size I could run. Shit!!
SonaR
I know it would be a fun experiment anyway.. let me know. I'll be at the Ballard Elks car show if you want to swap for a bit.
Fraybie
I have 235/40-18s on mine, that's within 0.3% of a 235/45-17.
adamjjohn203
From what I've been told the 235's rub like crazy. My 225/40R18 tires u have now are about as close as I can get.
kalvin
A larger spacer will eliminate the rubbing at full lock.
adamjjohn203
Yes but I'm concerned about fender rub both front and rear.
Fraybie
My fronts rub at full lock, and the rears rub when there's 400lbs of people in the back. On old, crappy, probably blown out stock suspension, of course. In contrast, your car is really nice, so you're probably right about being concerned
