sit back down Georgia. The GOP AND Dems don't like him. Do you seriously think that his Mexico Wall would actually get anywhere?

To parallel, do you really think Bernie's "free college" and healthcare plan will get anywhere if nominated/elected?

Ah so you think that is the reason that he has this huge following huh?  Your ignorance goes way beyond your age.  Better stick to reading the internet for opinions on beer and leave the politics to those that don't fry every brain cell they have.

Today is the day of reckoning.

People are starting to gun hard for Trump and Hillary is going to walk out of this with the nomination pretty much sealed up.

Forget what the news says, the reality is Rubio does not have to win that many contests today in order to remain on track for overtaking Trump later in the Primary season.  He just has to win at least 1/3 of the delegates in most of the Super Tuesday States.

We'll know by tomorrow morning whether the Republican party has really completely fallen apart.  I can't believe I'm actually contemplating voting for Hillary in the face of a Trump nomination.

Kevin, pissed off people get the candidates they deserve.  Contemplate that koan.

I wonder what happens to all the Kevin's if/when Bernie doesn't get the nomination. I'm sure a handful will vote Hillary - but many don't like the corporate attachment angle. I bet a bunch will be defeatist. But how many will go green-rainbow on principle? My guess is most will skip the next vote. I cast a troll vote today. Is that a phrase? Because it should be.

It occurred to me last night that the likely permutations of events from here on awful no matter what  But I pretty much knew I wouldn't be voting for the main parties anyway.

Voting for presidential election has been the lesser of two evil for quite sometime now.  We don't have anymore of the actual good president like the good old days of JFK or teddy  roosevelt

That's why you should support Trump... He vows to bring "back" that America

It only is because people keep saying that. Start voting on replacements. They kind of tried that with the Tea party, but it was flawed for several reasons. 1.2M people voted for Gary Johnson. A collective 2M voted for other actual people, and another ~200k for 'Other'. I recognize it's a tall order to have one of these other parties become something by next election - but we need enough votes, and enough demand for news coverage to get some competition. If you hate the two choices, vote third party. That third party represents a vote for 'I hate these other people'. Think about how many of the people who voted for 'one of the two' hated them both.

Funny you use JFK as the example, considering someone hated him enough to splatter him all over his Lincoln...

We are as close as we have been in generations to a complete realignment of the parties and the very real possibility of the emergence of a true third party.  Trump and Sanders have revealed some very significant fracture lines in both the mainstream parties.

Everyone had hit and miss but remember  the Cuba missile crisis. Without his decision, WWIII could had happen already.  And regarding his assassination, we never truly know the root cause other what been known to us as a crazy individual who carry that out.  Same can be say for Abraham Lincoln since he also got took out by a successful assissination attempt.

I do vote but then.....what presidential candidate we had since Clinton era brought us as of a choice?  Al Gore vs Bush Jr, McCain&Palin vs Obama/Biden.

It will probably split 50/50.  The moderately progressive will vote for Hillary because she's shattering a glass ceiling.  The fearful will vote for Hiary as an anti-Trump vote (assuming he wins the nomination).  If it's not Drumpf then they'll stay home.

a small increase in taxes that yield benefits for all Americans? I see resistance, but Bernie isn't an idiot and will compromise

It won't benefit all Americans. And it's a real stretch to claim that it will have an indirect benefit to all Americans. I think it's just as likely that it will normalize the labor force and drive wages down, not up. You don't really get paid more for having a High School education - and if everyone has a college education, why should it be any different?

ok, most Americans. Maybe if we have more college educated people, less people like Trump will be popular

I literally can not listen to Trump speak... It gives me a headache.

He seems to repeat the same cliche sentence fragments over and over and his list of adjectives appears to be limited.
