That was not what I got out of it. I don't think most really believe it has to be truly starting from zero. There probably isn't a well defined number, as it's a factor of more than just money. But if there were ever an example of someone who is not entirely self-made, who inherited money, who inherited a business, who inherited a great education, it's Trump. A big part of the reason he did what he did was his parent's name and wealth. I don't think that's shameful either. Born rich, stayed rich. Sounds good. But that is not self-made.

I guess we will agree to disagree on this point (and others).  That's politics.

You might want to look into the backgrounds of two of those guys.  Gates and Allen were essentially trust fund kids until their company took off.

Knight was born in a fairly wealthy family but his Dad refused to coddle him.

All 3 of them though are far more successful business men than Trump and started with far less in working capital.

Gary is trolling for the reactions. I'm merely posting to help others see the light amidst the mess that is the current mediascape.

Yes, they came from wealthy family but they start their company by themselves. I'm pretty sure they didn't inherit millions to spend on their start up.

Well, mark Cuban is a better example along with Phil knight. The guy sold his shoes out of his van.

What makes it even more funny is that you are just narcissistic enough to think that your opinion is right and the only one that matters.  You are "helping us see the light"?  Your head is going to fucking explode if it gets any bigger.  lol

Better have some good rearview mirrors when you do all that back peddling.  lol

Trump train baby.  Better get on board.  Its rolling.  woooot woooot.

It's all a matter of perspective Gary.  Getting your reaction means it worked.

By the way, you may want to look up the term narcissistic projection.  Casting labels on others is a clear symptom.

He's been mocked for that before, but his posts have substance. Also, looks like he's lifted his self-imposed link moratorium  It'd be a lot more interesting if your rebuttals had equal content.

I've lifted that moratorium for one limited topic: Trump and only until he drops from the election or is defeated by Hillary.

And Gary find one thing I've stated that isn't an accurate portrayal of Trump.  Just one please.

That will never happen but should it I will pull the emergency chute and move to British Columbia. Wife and all the kids are Canadian and the family owns property up there.

If it works for you I guess its a win.  In your mind anyway.  There was no "casting".  I was calling a spade a spade.  ;)

It would be even more interesting if I gave a shit what you thought.  I see you two are back to sucking each others ass.  How does that taste.  Nevermind.  I don't want to know.

I haven't even clicked on a link because I don't care what you think about Trump.  That's not a slam either.  That would be like me expecting you to change your views because I posted a great link.  It isn't going to happen.  I am going to vote for who I am voting for.  Just as you are.  If Trump loses, I am still going to sleep well at night and I am still going to argue with you.  That's just what we do.  ;)

Would you get your healthcare there?  Not an insult.  I am curious.

For General healthcare needs absolutely.  But I would take advantage of US healthcare where warranted especially since I would be paying taxes and insurance in the US as I would still work for an American company as an expatriate.  I'm not locked to a single location for my work and could easily work remotely given most of my efforts are traveling to divisions any way.
