I do pray that you never have children but if you do have a daughter.  Would you want her to be using a public restroom and have a man come in and whip his pecker out to take a piss.  Why does that child deserve that confusion?  Also,   Can you guarantee that NO trans genders are EVER perverts?  Lastly,   If this person spent 75% of their entire life dropping sticks in the mens bathroom, why is it offensive to ask that they continue to drop sticks in the mens bathroom?  Just seems like all this is about is for a VERY small group of people to have something to feel slighted over.  That is my opinion.

I don't have a problem with gay guys, just want to throw that out there before I comment. A couple close friends of mine are gay, it doesn't bother me.

That being said, what's next? Some gay guy doesn't feel comfortable pissing in men's rooms, dropping sticks around guys that he is potentially attracted to, so he wants to use the ladies room? Because in my opinion that's where this issue could go.

This 1000%.  I have daughters - a large family of daughters.  This is an issue we are faced with in the school district with a small number of boys who are "self identifying" as young as 5th Grade and the schools supporting them with bathroom and locker room access starting in middle school.

These parents should be seeking treatment and counseling for their children but that's not the message society wants to pursue.

Look I get that gender dysphoria is a challenge that creates significant psychological issues for the small percentage of men and women who struggle with it.  And I am sympathetic with efforts to help youth especially who deal with this confusion and apparent cognitive dissonance.  No one wants to see a teenager or young adult commit suicide because they cannot find a supportive identity in society.

But research demonstrates that better than 70% of those who pursue the alternative gender eventually revert back.  So who is protecting those girls who are faced with a confused boy who eventually realizes he's not a she?  This is brave new world liberal society is pushing for with no consideration of the casualties and later outcomes.  Study the stories and you will find many, many who pursued anatomical changes and discovered to their great depressing reality that it failed to answer the lack they felt they needed. These are psychological issues first and foremost and anyone who says otherwise is delusional.

Great response, and I wish I had your level of prudence and sensitivity. I'm more of a "it is what it is" kind of guy with less tact, which kinda makes me an a-hole and also why I'd never excel in politics. And while I agree with you, I'm less sensitive (or even not sensitive at all) to someone who struggles with gender dysphoria, than someone that was legitimately born with ambiguous genitalia.

Next there will be a guy that wants to be a monkey.  The law will say that if he wants to jack off in front of people and throw shit at you like a monkey, he can do that.  Its his God given right.

I'd have to argue that technically it isn't his "God given right", if that were the case he'd actually be a monkey

If you had kids you would understand.  But you don't so you won't.   You're also heavily invested into the card-carrying liberal mindset whether you realize it or not.   Having some liberal views is fine, in fact most people do have some to a degree regardless of who they are.  Embracing ALL OF THEM is sheepish and that's where problems are coming up...the problems we are having today with this bathroom shit and a bunch of other things that haven't been issues for thousands of years.

It's a bandwagon thing fueled by social media.  Silly fucking memes, op-eds by nobodies and articles by psuedo-experts on biased media outlets.  The common theme with all of them is that common sense is thrown right the fuck out and people line up to follow the shit.

I certainly don't embrace all liberal views, I would call myself more to the center left

This is what bernie tax system would look like if he is elected.  He won't even leave those die exempt from tax increase 😭

http://dailycaller.com/2016/04/17/this-chart-shows-what-your-paycheck-will-look-like-under-bernie-sanders-tax-plan/

The highest income earners would be about 17% lower on their net income. I suggest ErikS find a new tax accountant fast.

Under the proposal, all taxpayers would face a new 2.2 percent tax on income, and a 6.2 percent Social Security payroll tax would be applied to incomes over $250,000.

in addition, there is .5% tax on all financial transactions (stock). How would that help the economy?

I would actually be OK with that as long as the money went to get us out of debt and these greedy scumbags wouldn't be padding their (and all their corporate shitbag buddies) pockets with it instead. Also not a fan of handing it out to dead beats (on either end of the societal spectrum). Issue is that I don't trust a single one of them, I honestly believe at this stage in the game we're doomed to reap what we / they have sowed, and it won't be pretty. Shit is coming, and it's going to fall hard IMHO. The truly crappy thing is that it's us who will suffer (for now), not them. I blame greedy politicians and people like Kevin that aren't smart enough to do simple math, or differentiate reality from fiction anymore.
