2016 Presidential Campaign

I don't know what Trump's problem is with the Chinese, they pay $85K per year to go to our school and I love them for it.  They literally live across the street from his tower in Manhattan.

I do know that my six years of education at state schools in the late 90's was less than ONE year of my sister's schooling at Wash U.

Yeah, when you look at in state tuition, often times it's only a fraction more money than community college. Pretty sure my cousin wrapped up his bachelors degree at University of Buffalo for less than $5k a year.

just get lucky and go to school for free on athletic scholarship and piss education away while you are there... that's an option too...

Hell Greg you and I are about as close of friends as a grandfather and a grandson could be.

Grandpa? Is that you?

I guess my question is if I had it so easy early on in life why am I not struggling now?   Hell I've made some of the worst Life Choices anybody could possibly make and I'm not having any problem getting by.

It's a lot easier to start out with a leg up, flounder a bit, but stay the course than it is to start from the bottom and move up. Try to look at a larger picture more than your individual situation. You shouldn't conclude things are good just because you're doing alright. The opposite is true too. If the economy and opportunity were endless, but someone's struggling born in to a family of useless assholes in a trailer park somewhere, they shouldn't conclude that things are bad just because they have it bad.

That doesn't mean you can't still pull yourself up by your bootstraps and make something of yourself with hard work and focus. But the environment has become significantly harder without incurring significant debt in college, diminished job opportunities unless you specialize, and many of our public schools in secondary education don't do a very good job of preparing kids to understand and succeed if they don't have good role models around them.

If I said chance of rising up is important, there's some who would say that's an excuse, and just try harder. But I think some of these "just work harder" types would be saying the same thing even if the chance of success was nearly 0. Even in the worst economies, there's probably still one person who can rise. So to them, that's all it takes. Just work harder! It's a failure to acknowledge that chance of success is relevant.

I wonder where Saggy Balls Gary went to school.  He makes us all want to believe it was the school of hard knocks.  I guess that is what made him great again.

You sure are enamored with my balls. Does your wife know your fascination with the male anatomy?  She might find it disturbing but I don't. Let's hook up sometime and I will let you meet them. ;-)

I always wondered how Saggy Balls Gary learned to flip Volvos.  It all makes sense now.

I wonder if he puts his money where his Saggy Balls are, and is helping with Trump's "emergency fundraising."

I would have loved to seen the personal attack. Please don't hesitate to PM it to me. You're contradicting the last few posts in this thread. You're as old as I am so there's no way you had it bad. We all had a good back in the day remember.

actually I'm going to send you some money so you could possibly get that vagina of yours turned into a penis. That might help you with your infatuation with my body parts.  Until then you will be referred to as saggy labia. Saggy labia Eric.

Hey saggy labia. I really hope I don't have to explain to you why private universities cost more than public do I? Really? Really? Really?

looks like Trump is pandering to the religious people again, saying he will appoint a justice that will overturn gay rights and allow for "religious freedom"

makes me lol that the guy isn't even religious yet he can convince these idiots that he is out there to help them

Kind of like Bernie saying he will raise min wage to $15.

How is that the same at all? Bernie is a self-proclaimed socialist, who proposed an idea that is arguably consistent with that view. What does that have to do with Kevin's point?

That will NEVER happen.  Dude you really need to go find another "person" to yearn for.  Your advances are getting tiring.  let the big boys talk here.

Back on topic now that the creeper has been dismissed.  Kevin, do you have a link where he said that (about overturning gay marriage)?  I have not seen that.  Might be the first thing that I disagree with though I hate saying that as it gives Alden hope.  ;)
