I think you underestimate how attractive the siren song becomes for any politician in his position when the race is wide open on both sides and people keep saying the race is yours to lose.

Chris,

so most of those points are negatives for you. Is the 2nd so important, he would have your vote( purely speculative, don't worry) against Hillary?

they ran the numbers at least in NJ, Hillary would own him according to exit polls.

Yes, which is why I find I have no political camp.

It seems like liberals want the government to run everything and take care of them and conservatives are way to... conservative.

If it came down to both of them I wouldn't vote.

I found similar. I don't buy it.

Too many variables and not enough definition around Hillary who stands as an undefined yet well known candidate. The voters had a clear sense of Christie and only warm fuzzy remembrances of Clinton as a candidate 6 years ago. The point is, no one stands up against her as well as Christie.

That's tiddlywinks compared to the laundry list of skeletons Hillary has trailing behind her. Including her stint as Sec State.

And Mike if you think he won't run you must not be listening to the words coming out of CC's mouth.

Christie is an interesting study, but I believe Hillary will ride the wave of being the first potential woman President much in the same way President Obama rode the wave as the first African american one, regardless of platform. My problem with Hillary is that I saw no sense of personal responsibility as it related to Benghazi, and that she came across as being quite imperious.(imo)

Of course she was applauded for standing up to her inquisitors, but as previously noted, I didn't see anywhere in which "she owned it" in the sense of it being on her watch as S of S, and wonder if she would adopt the same posture in the Oval Office.

Anyone who has watched Hillary since she started running at the national level, first with Bill and later on her own should recognize that ambition steers her completely. She will own what she has to or wants to only if it benefits her first.

I've tried not to watch her, but point well taken. And that's probably true of many that have achieved that office, however I do believe it serves to erode the respect of it. I write this knowing that I don't have any solutions, or suggested individuals that would necessarily improve and restore such things. Too many disparate moving parts in my view.... (So back to my cave.)

"What does it matter now?"
