L.A. P Rating: 1 Comments: We bought two new volvos here. When I bought the first one 850r the Taiwanese background salesman was very very courteous, I almost felt embarrassed. Got a great deal on the car and enjoyed the experience. When my parents went back to buy the second car, the nice man was not working there anymore I believe. A new guy who was still in "training" when I bought the first car sold my parents their car a year later. My father said his shopping experience was fair. As for their service department, generally it has been fine but on two occassions they were not courteous at all. Once they ignored us for a long time and none of the Service Reps would come to tell us what is taking so long. Finally my father found the Salesman who sold him the car and asked if their service department is a complete 180' from the sales. They finally decide to take interest in our case. The second event involved a visit that required our car be left there for a while. Based on their policy we were entitled to a rental car or loaner, but they decided to ignore us again. After finding the Salesman that sold us the car again the ignorant service rep. came to resolve the issue but with a dirty face that should be wipped clean with dirty toilet paper!

Paul Martinez Rating: 9 Comments: I recently took my 850 turbo to the dealer for repairs, actually I had to have it towed in, but the staff at Rusnak was very helpful, and helped me rent a car and made sure that I got a dicounted rate. I would rate the service excellent.

used to be a great dealer/service dept/service advisors....

everything has gone to crap, with the exception of maybe 1 mech and 1 parts guy

All the old (good) service advisor/reps are (mysteriously) gone. The new ones never call when your car is ready, they dont inform you whats going on, ignore insurance claims, etc. Even the service MANAGER = *thumbs down*

As for the dealer...The sales people arent pushy...in fact.. so un pushy, you'll have to go to THEM, and wait for them to be UNbusy sitting or chatting with other salespeople

Looking for a new volvo? get it somewhere that deserves the money...

Service? Independent shops...or lots of extended warranty & a new car cuz you'll be going back 5+ times for the same problem and wait about 1 week before they "try" something on your car that hasnt been touched for 3 days of just sitting there, no matter an appointment 3 weeks in advance, 1 week in advance, or walk in.

Rating 2: I didn't purchase my vehicle @ Rusnak, but I don't recommend Rusnak for service. They are the most difficult service department to reach, when trying to enquire on the status of your repair. Hold times on the phone seem to be consistently between 5-10 min (if they don't just hang up on you)--and that's just to speak to someone in the service department who will then xfer you to the voicemail of your service advisor who never answers the phone. They don't promtly return calls either. They seem to be greatly understaffed with service advisors and the ones that are working there don't seem to value their customers very highly.
