woah4
I really like the way it looks! I got a little confused though so just for clarification are you still running the 18T?
DScottM
Yep. For this summer yet. Looking to go a bit bigger for next season possibly...
woah4
Not bad, what do you have In mind, 20G?
DScottM
Mmm maybe. Doubt I'll have the funds to build the engine this year yet and would be kinda sketchy to 20g a stock engine. Was thinking either a billet 19t or 20t till I have cash for a full build. Just something to spice it up a bit.
woah4
Well speaking from my own experience anyway I did a straight flange 19T non billet and it was nice but wasn't a big enough improvement for me, now with that said seeing how matts car moves with the billet 19T and 9 blade you can get them working pretty good, but with that said you probably also spend what you would on a T3 set up
DScottM
Yeah I know. Need to think about it and do some more research before I decide for sure... If I do go a small jump like that in going to go full blown. Billet and 11 or 9 blade exhaust wheel, angle flange and r manifold.
woah4
Yeah that's the way for sure. What I did worked nice and was cheap but I missed out on a lot of potential power
Timbo Slice
If you're gunna run 20mm in the rear on those 18s be prepared to roll the fenders hard and possibly pull them a bit. 20mms on my S70 were perfect with just rolling the rear but I was also running et49 wheels. 10mm should be fine up front with just moderate rolling, and you're gunna love the turning radius. DScottM
Yeah I just broke down and bought a roller finally. So I can you with it as I have time. I don't see it being a problem. I have quite a bit of clearance now with the 10s so another 5ish mm pull on the rears and i should be ready to go...
andyb5
Looks great Derrick Like I said at Carlisle, your bay is clean enough to eat off of man! I really like the vinyl, looks so much better in person than in the pictures - the brushed texture is a cool touch.

DScottM
Quick update on the plans for the winter. The current clutch is slipping whenever a launch is attempted So a clutch is in order. It holds fine accept for launches so I'm holding off till winter when it will be off the road anyways. So far the list of items I plan/hope to accomplish includes: New Clutch (R PP, and a spec stage 2+ disc?? Open to ideas on that yet), a SMF (bought from JoshV70), poly subframe and control arm bushings, 20t with 11/9 wheels, 7cfm housing along with angle flange dp, R manifold or japanifold (Tell me which and why), and last but certainly not least a TMM9 tune to bring this build to it's max potential. Really looking forward to playing with the new setup next season. In other news I recently bit the bullet and started running a 30% e85 mix. Don't have many miles on it yet but I can tell a noticeable difference.. I.e. 2nd gear breaking loose on flat dry roads haha... Will keep this updated with my long term feelings on it... I also need to get some good non iPhone pics to post one of these days... Thanx for reading, Cheers
Timbo Slice
R manifold because I said so.
Burn-E
R manifold because the flow is superior to the Japanifold. http://www.vpcuk.org/forums/showthread.php?52242-ME7-exhaust-manifold/page2
