He's talking gross weight not curb weight, the gross weight is the most the car will ever weigh fully loaded with its max passenger and cargo capacity. Not the best way to compare weight of the actual car though, cause the passenger and cargo capacity itself varies. (4 passenger for a C and up to 7 for a V...) Besides, the boxy front end wouldn't have match up. Still have some work to do...I'll get pics up as soon as I can. why would it be lots of work? its plug and play. I did R bumper years ago and slide off and slide on. Not a fan of c70 bumper with s40 lip I still think #1 is best. I'm gonna get on that after I'm done with the projects that I am currently working on and fix some mechanical issues (oil leaks). If I come across the thread, I'll post it. Update.. I read somewhere the first generation s40 from sport package.
