Tightmopedman9
Marlin, look at the 765 Sachs plate. To my knowledge is has the highest clamping force of any Sachs pp, and can be had about $50 cheaper than the 707.

DAYWALKER
New parts arrived today. Going to have to redo the intercooler plumbing since the FMIC will be coming out. make sure to shim them for air gap and watch out for the bolts that will come close to the radiator tank. boxpin
make sure to shim them for air gap and watch out for the bolts that will come close to the radiator tank. Thanks, been paying very close attention to those instructions.
boxpin
Slow process but I got the pistons all in. Waiting on a RN pan from JoshV70. Stripped one of the 4 bolts that hold the oil pump in so I am going to pull that and heli-coil it. 88in/lbs isnt very much. I have it in there with some bite but I dont feel comfortable knowing the engine heat cycles will eventually let it go.

boxpin
Had some time tonight so I decided to throw the XC bumper on the car. Its been sitting in the garage all painted and ready to go.
Tightmopedman9
Awesome. Was it a direct bolt on?
boxpin
There are plastic plates that mount to the sides of the car under the cover. The bumper skin slides onto them. They bolt right into the factory hole. The rest of the bumper bolts right up. Fairly easy swap.
lookforjoe
Looks much better than the old cover. Dual exhaust next?
