To anyone that has a GROM with Bluetooth, HU-850 and iPhone ios7+, can you do me a favor?

I want to see if Bluetooth streaming plays the audio from a Video file on an iPhone with IOS 7+

Don't want to drop the $ if it can't do this, and I can't find any info on this specific of a question on the interwebs.

Thanks

it should still play audio, YouTube audio will stream over BT no issue

Will it interupt the radio when a call comes in. I can't imagine how it would do this, seeing how it would need to change the input to 10CHANGER. Just wondering.

Obviously it would interupt an MP3 being played from my phone if a call comes in....thats all up to my phone.

Yes I tend to over think things. But I need to justify 150$ when I already have the oem ipod adapter that works just fine.

I can get $40 back by returning my apple 30pin to lightning adapter if bluetooth is my final solution.

Wow. The GROM iPd3 works great. Got it installed last night. Drained my battery because the HIDS were on a while because I needed the car to be in drive to get the head unit out.

But the install went smooth. I had trouble pairing initially and had to unplug the BT dongle and re plug it in while the unit was on to get my phone to see it. I also updated the FW from GROM's website to be sure I have the latest. Phone/Streaming Audio/Video works flawlessly. Phone sounds crisp and the other end can't tell I'm on a BT in the car, no echo. I mounted the mic up by the rear view mirrow.

I ripped out the OEM iPod adapter and I guess I'll try to see if I can sell it. it worked just fine, just had the old 12v charging technology.
