Mesoam
The TTR is a trail/play bike. I'm surprised you don't feel its too small. I'd look into swapping the YZ forks/front end

I'd look into swapping the YZ forks/front endI think you're thinking of the TTR225 or TTR230. The 250 is more like a full size bike. 36inch seat height, 11in travel on both ends. It feels larger than my brother's YZ125; I think the YZ's seat height is taller, but being narrower it doesn't feel that way. It has a pretty harsh front end. But I think he had all the clickers cranked up. He just adjusted them down, so I'll have to try it again.

Fudge_Brownie
Is your bike street legal? Nope, but it's on my to-do list. Probably won't happen until the fall, or maybe next spring. It is not street legal from the factory in the US, so it'll need a bit of work to get it there.

The Tusk kit is probably just as good and doesn't cost $500 either. picked this up today. 2000 400ex. Has a new rear axle and carrier, well maintained and not owned by some white trash clown. Came with a set of paddles mounted on wheels too, the price was right. All I have to do is take the stickers off. Matty Moo
I bought this a month ago, 2015 v-star 950 . I like everything about it except that it too closely resembles a Harley. I wasn't really looking for a new bike but it was leftover so it was a good deal.

Seriously, be careful!
