Ol' Dirty Noodle
Dope, I'm looking to pick up a ZT-09 this winter for the spring... maybe a KTM SuperDuke as well
Timbo Slice
SuperDuke I can approve of, but I looked up ZT-09 and this is what I found. I could see you rocking that.

Fudge_Brownie
If I lived in the city, I'd totally have a scooter. No good pictures but 2 weeks ago I did another trail riding event. Kinda like a road rally through the woods I guess. VT on Saturday, back to camp, then NH on Sunday. They arrow the route so you just follow them, and the freshly churned dirt. As soon as you hit the woods, you can go your 100%. No one else around to bother besides other people doing the same thing. I think that's what I like about it most. And because they've plotted it out, you don't even have to figure out a trail route that makes sense.

I ended up with a free weekend so I split out of town early Saturday, rode to Amsterdam to visit my grandmother, raced the sunset from there to Lake Placid and camped for the night. Sunday morning I did a quick climb up Whiteface and then hit the road back to Rochester. Perfect weather, empty roads...it was simply amazing. Timbo Slice
That's more like it. Have you looked at the FZ1? Solid, solid bike.

I have, but I haven't owned a bike in over 10 years and I'm not tryna go all that crazy right now

Surprisingly, for being a liter bike, the FZ1 is extremely refined and manageable.
Fudge_Brownie
Superduke... 10 years off... not trying to go crazy. There's also the 390 Duke, which if it's gonna spend most of it's time in the city might be nice to have such a light nimble bike. FZ1 arguably isn't a true liter bike, despite being 1L. That term is usually for the supersports. FZ1 is more mannered because that's the goal of a bike like that. Still plenty of power but doesn't need to break magazine records at the expense of day to day usage.

Yea the superduke is a 1290, I know someone who will sell it to me cheap that's the only reason I'm considering it, while I haven't owned a bike in 10 years I have been riding a decent amount since then, most recently a bobbed out Shadow and a friends old Kawasaki 900, also rode a '17 Busa this past summer 😗
Matty Moo
Finally sold the 919 on Monday. I put all of 400 or so miles on it last year and really wasn't into it. Picked up a new Polaris 570 touring in January, I've only ridden it once and put all of 3 hours on it but I really like it. The snow is finally melting up north so I might be able to get up there soon and ride it on proper trails. My one son just turned 12 yesterday so he's finally legal to trail ride, I rebuilt his Arctic Cat 90 last summer, changed the clutches and went smaller on the rear sprocket just for that. My nephew can ride my 400 when we go.
