The CX racing set looks to be the same as the D2/KSport/BC stuff, but at almost $200 less. I wouldn't buy the D2 stuff knowing now how many renditions of the mounting tab/overall design they've gone through due to issues (and I'm not aware if everything is fully resolved even now), but you could always be a pioneer and pull the trigger on them to let everyone know how they are.

Matt, to get yours where you wanted them to be, you went with all new springs and essentially customized your setup correct? Seems to me that in order to get the TA to your liking, you're gunna have to do a bit of replacing some components. Don't get me wrong, lots of people have raved about them after the fact, but that'll bring up the price on them. That's also not saying people don't customize the D2s for their application as well, but the design seems to be a bit more bolt on.

Just my $0.02 :)

The front's are completely stock...

Its the rear I had to modify a bit. The stock springs didnt sit low enough for my liking.

Stock TA rears:

Here is my custom setup:
Went in 8in 336lb springs Togue works. ($40). and TKI upper mounts and used the TA lower mounts($100). After I sold off the stock rear red springs, I think it only cost me like $50 in total. So didnt spend much more.

D2's have camber adjustment, CXRacing doesn't.

The TA's seem to be about as cheap as you can get. Adjusting ride height is done by moving the spring seat. There is a helper spring to keep preload, but it can't be set. No mention of spring rates, but I would assume they are more like lowering spring as the whole setup is cheap. The setup is like an adjustable Koni strut converted to a coilover. End link mounting tabs are very low, so there won't be an issue. It says there is a warranty, but it is never talked about in the listing.

CXRacing is very much like the D2 where the height adjustment is done by adjusting the base. Spring preload is set to whatever you want and will stay there. Spring rates are low and in the same range as lowering springs, 279/223 front/rear, where the D2s are 600/450. It is difficult to tell from the pictures if the end link tabs will work or not. Warranty is 1 year, if they are professionally installed and you have a receipt. If you do it yourself, warranty is void.

As usual, you get what you paid for. If all you care about is lowering your car on the cheap, either one of these will work. CXRacing is the better setup of the two, but will take longer to install as the rear shocks have height adjustment to match the spring adjustment.

Multumesc mult!!!

I love my TA's...

But damn those CX Racings look legit...

Indeed, more attention to details, adjustments.

I got downvoted for that? Am I the only one who sees that it's French? I can't read French....

Is not French is Romanian (a sister in language ,one of the four Latin languages)

Many thanks Zappo!!!

AT plus the adjustable top mounts cost more than the CXR's.

I will give a try to the CXRacing. I will have them installed by the shop in order to keep the Warranty, PA roads are getting only worse.
