Lots of power nice and clean but when I hit the gas At take off the tires spin, as in it Peels out a little bit then goes. my 04 S60R doesn't do this I've never heard the tires Spin or chirp one time. is this a problem or are theSe systems totally different? jschaefer7406
Our '06 XC90 will chirp the tires if pulling out fast. Have checked the AWD, seems to be working... Always struck me as odd though, as '06- are supposed to have "Instant Traction" and start with AWD from a standing start (as opposed to earlier Haldex versions requiring a certain amount of slip before engagement). RobT5M
Wifes 08 s80 T6 awd will churp if I turn the tracs off. Otherwise its instant traction. Still an AWD Volvo, just has a larger engine. Is it just the fronts, or are all 4 spinning? Road wet?
Timbo Slice
S60 T5s were not offered in the US with AWD... first and foremost, figure out if the car is indeed a T5 or an AWD. The only AWD High Pressure Turbo cars in 2007 were R's, while you could get a T5 FWD or 2.5T AWD (LPT).
