JaredR1
Hey guys, the insurance company is telling me that they're planning on making me an offer on my 850R (that was wrecked by a front end loader clearing snow) this week and that any information I can provide on where the market is on these cars would be helpful. If anyone has any information on recent sales that you that would be beneficial to my case that you could share it would be much appreciated. I already have 3 that I'm planning on using - the black T-5R that went on ebay for $7.6k recently and that black 850R sedan with messed up paint that went for $8.2k a few days ago, and I might use a red 850R estate that was on CL for $4k with bad Nivomats and a bad headliner (I imagine those have to add up to AT LEAST $2k if you have the dealer fix them and I'm really thinking closer to $4k) and make a point of the problems that car has. Anyway, anything anyone can share with me (saved ebay listings, CL listings, or anything else you have) that shows 850R/T-5R/Platinum Editions selling for good prices or gives an indicator of how strong this market is, I would be extremely appreciative. I need to show these guys that book value is a joke due to all the cars sold by people who don't have a clue what they have and/or with tons of deferred maintenance trading for far below market value. (sorry for a second thread on my problems in the same subforum in the last week...I'm sure you guys want to stop hearing about losing 850Rs as much as I want to stop talking about it, so I'm hoping this will be the final chapter of this debacle!) boxpin
Cars.com typically has outrageously priced cars. Get on there and print them to PDFs, save everything you find, sold or not. Just give them an idea that its worth more. I got $2k more for an 850 about 5 years ago doing this. It does not have to be the same year either. You can go +1 or -1.
