Loose The Signatures.

It is become more and more frustrating to browse the VS forum.

Browsing through tons of patheticly large signatures searching for reply's.

Largest found so far was over 900x600 pixels, some close to 600x600.

Some people do not have monitors going that high in resolution. :P

Just kidding... I know what you mean though. Mine is probably borderline too big. I find it as annoying as when there are like 10 qoutes in peoples resonses.

I agree. Some of them are huge. I try to keep my pictures less than 250 pixels tall.

EDIT: I know that some forums have an ignore signatures feature. I'm not sure if that can be applied to this?

How about we just change the character limit from like 5000 to like 300?

oh you shush.. The whole reason I have this big jerk sig is so peeps can see what I've done and learn how to do it themselves.. or not have to create a thread about it..

If i could complain about one thing about some people here is that their signatures are too small. (mod list I mean) we would all be better off if we knew what peeps were running, and how to accomplish that... IMO.

Nope no dial up. Its just sometimes people post one line replys to threads. And in your case you post a lot so it just leads to lots of scrolling.

I think a mod list isn't required if you can correctly detail your problems in your post - which seems to be a lost art around here. :huh:

In reality mine could be almost as long as Kevin's. It would be way longer if I put both cars in it. I just choose not to list my mods.

yeah, I guess my thought with the HTML links in my sig was so that people could gahter more info, on stuff that I'd done, without having to start a thread, or ask a stupid question. what brought this whole thread on is V tuning 850's GIGANTIC pic in his sig, Johann commented on it in a thread, and he created this topic.

I'm with ya Stephen, we need to limit the size of the signature pictures..

but, we need to stay away from the Nazi like sig rules of swedespeed. (i don't know why they have a limit, no one mods their car.. they don't need all that room!)
