We have avatars and if people want to show off their cars, there is the showroom, the owner's gallery, and lots of other pages for image hosting that people can link to.Sure, it's nice to be able to a funny picture into a sig, but it's not really needed. Maybe people would use the showroom and gallery on here more regularly if pictures weren't allowed in the signatures?

beachnut Posted February 17, 2005 Report Posted February 17, 2005 Here ... sweet and simple, no avatar, no sig pic, no mods list, just a link to the gallery. stuff, I'd have to go through all my receipts for the last year to figure out my mod list Actually I have them all in a Word doc just waiting for me to get off my jerk and create that little webpage I keep putting off.Btw, I'm with 850Ridah ... the constant quote replying is WAY annoying more than the pics.

I'm running 3200x1200 on a dual 21", and i still only get 3 posts on a screen. Other forums i'm on have limited (software enforced) sig pic size of the dimentions of my logo. It's something like 200x90. Also thing of the poor 56k viewers, and us unfortuante international blokes. (who are reduced to 56k on occasion.)
TheDiva Posted February 17, 2005 Report Posted February 17, 2005 I like pics in sigs, it gives the page colour so you don't just have pages of bland looking text, but I think maybe limiting the sizes couln't hurt.& yes, 10 quotes in a reply is annoying.
