Burn-E
Heroin and meth addicts. They're the ones stealing all the guns from people's homes and businesses and then trading them for drugs with the street gangs.
Matty Moo
All of the proposed gun law talk is hot air in the scheme of things. Chicago is loaded with guns...and you can bet most of them are stolen. Same with Detroit, there's a murder every day and then some...when the weapon is found it's always stolen. People typically are not buying guns and then selling them to felons, it happens but not even 1% as much as they want everybody to think. Prosecuting doesn't push their agenda, it doesn't sound as good to the sheep. Sheep want laws and gun-free zones because they think that silly shit works because criminals always follow the law. Burn-E
The question is whether it was "stolen" or actually stolen. It seems clear there's a fair amount of both going on.

As you said, meth and heroin is an issue EVERYWHERE and even more so in the rural areas. People are morons for not locking them up, but when you read about burglaries in rural areas (most of Michigan) it's always the guns that are gone first. They don't get resold in those same areas as there isn't a market for them there. They go down either side of the state to either Detroit or Indiana. I live in an area right out of a Norman Rockwell painting and those bastards are coming here during the day when people aren't home to steal shit. Burn-E
The absurdity of gun control in a country with more than one gun for every man, woman and child.
Kevin.
this gun control shit is getting ridiculous most gun deaths per year in the US are from suicide, also worth noting that gun deaths in the US are on a pretty steady decline. Che'_Moderator
ROFL!!!! Seriously not even one mildly decent weapon on that chart. Back to earlier comments. Screw poor people. If you are poor you shouldn't be allowed to own a firearm. That said, holy shitballs at those numbers. Chicago is crappier than I thought.
Burn-E
You have to understand these guys are looking for something they can readily carry and readily stash somewhere outside their home. Be it in a trash can, hollow tree, ventilation shaft, they want a gun that is easily hidden. And they only want to spend $25-$100 on the street for it. What surprises me is the types of handguns because word is that none of them can aim worth shit so they prefer a gun that can accommodate a high capacity magazine so they can spray and pray they hit their target. I am all for weapon caches. But don't dead drop a POS. So solution is easy. Ban shitty guns or guns for poor people. No one is going to sell a MK23 on the street for 100 bones. Because with PA's closed Primary you must be registered for one of the parties in order to participate which means you're locked out and have no voice. While I can appreciate a position like that for Federal level elections it also prevents you from voting in State level Primaries. Gotta be honest to me that's essentially saying I only want to complain I don't want to actually have an influence on the process. Because Primaries are where the real influence lies. Unless you are actively supporting and pursuing lobbying efforts to change your State's Primary to an open format?
