volvoguy23 Posted February 22, 2016 Report Share Posted February 22, 2016 Soooo I thought I would share some video's of what I've been working on, Ill let the video's do the talking but keep in mind this is with winter grade 91 Octane, STOCK intercooler piping/Intercooler, Stock throttle body, Stock Intake manifold. Still have some fine tuning to do with the Fuel map. E85, Custom Intake manifold, and FMIC will be next...Couldn't have done this without this site and the awesome members on here! You think the stock valve springs are stiff enough? I use to rap it out that far when I was running lower boost, I haven't actually rescaled my load axis haha so yeah I need to also buy the 1224 load mod so I can actually tune the right way. And yeah for what it is, it's moving good. Can't wait to tryout some e85 and 30psi with the mods listed above, I should get a R manifold too. I'm sure it would help a little over the japanifold! Yep I ran 7650 with no problems on hydrualic lifters, so with your RN head and the solid lifters you can rev up to 8500 rpm on stock springs, atleast thats how high hussein went. I need to buy the 1224oad mod so I can actually tune that part of the map, with stock cams it would be nice to change the timing a bit getting above 7k, I've been meaning to send someone money for that file. I'll definitely turn up the limiter soon too! I just got my new injectors In a few days ago so I've been playing it safe. Feeling really confident in the motor now though after this weekend! It's starts pulling around 10-12psi which is around 3500rpm, depending on what gear I'm in, once it hits 15psi (3700rpm) there is no lag :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
