I know, wish you could upload multiple pics at once too! I'll make an account with imgur soon..

got the car running and driving really well with these new injectors (850cc) but I seem to be having an issue with accel enrichment. As soon as I hit the throttle from a stop just driving off like normal my afr's dip down too far close to 10:1 afr and then quickly rise to normal. If I slowly ease into the throttle it's not as bad. Also it's a lot worse when cold. When this happens the car obviously hits a wall or lightly bogs, it's not that bad but I know I can tune it out somehow. I believe this has to do with the accel enrichment. Which table (k+l) or (DK) should I adjust and by about how much too start? Im guessing the K+L table?

I should also mention that once the engine has warmed up it's not that bad, maybe drops to the 12's but you can definitely notice it when taking off

Done stupid stuff like injector calibration with the new injectors?

Mine does that (goes lean off throttle) very slightly when cold; not bad enough that I've looked into it.  Let us know what you find.  Assume you're running alcohol (since you said 10:1 as being lean), yes?  Oh wait, are you saying it's going rich when you crack the throttle?

on the other topic, i like dropbox.com..  you set it a folder on your PC, just drag'n'drop files there and it automatically uploads them to their server; then I have to login, but just to grab the link..

Oh ok I didn't know drop box had img links for pics I'll have to look into that. And yes right when I hit the gas the engine runs Rich for a second, much worse when cold. I'm almost positive it's accel enrichment. Injectors are calibrated nicely, have tried several different combinations with constant, latency and temin. Definitely something else. Hopefully someone can talk about there experiences with the enrichment tables.

R mani will definitely improve flow with the runner design. Question, what did you do for your oil return and did you make a custom engine mount? Or was that only necessary for a 20G... I can't remember. Love the setup!

In this particular case I don't think so. He is running on "Japanifold". The feedbacks are that there is no real improvement between Japan & R. (of course the R is the best by stock)
So I would say don't chase the R mani, not so important. Billet wheel would be better, also worth to think on a "quick spool valve" because of twin scorll..but it is another story.
HX hotside is huge it will definitely not a bottle neck.

Hey Guy's, having a problem with data logging. Finally got a hold of a new laptop and can't seem to get the data logging feature to work. Im not sure what's going on here but I've logged with this cable before and flash with it on a regular basis. I've tried everything to my knowledge, been messing with it for close to 2 hours and can't get it to connect right, it's seem to want to connect but something isn't right. I made a video to show you guys what is happening.  Any and all help would be appreciated. I'm really excited to get a few logs with my setup and see exactly what's going on.

I tried that several times too, that's how I used to do it and it worked fine. Someone commented on the video and mentioned using the older 2.10.00 drivers. I'm using the latest drivers now so maybe that's the issue. Gonna dick with it some more when I get off work....

Yeah if you use the 2.12.00 drivers on an unofficial FTDI device, it bricks the cable (i.e sets the PID to 0000). So simply uninstalling the WHQL 2.12.00 drivers and then reinstalling the WHQL 2.10.00 will not work

You can either:

  1. Use FTProg to change the PID back to 6001, then use a driver cleaner program to wipe all FTDI drivers as well as remove the FTDI folder from C:/Windows/System32/DriverStore/FileRepository (you'll need to change the permissions on the folder in order to do this).
  2. The easier alternative is to use a set of drivers with a modified INF (PID is 0000 in this INF instead of 6001).

@Tightmopedman9 has a copy of these drivers.

So I downloaded Ft-program and was able to change it back to the default setting (6001) I then tried to uninstall all the drivers (new and old)  and then reinstall just 2.10 still no luck. Behaving like it did before. I haven't used the driver sweeper yet I'm just antsy about using that because i dont wanna mess it up a this as this is a friends new laptop. waiting to see if I can get the modified drivers from Tmm9. Right now when I go to device manager it shows its using the correct 2.10 ftdi drivers. And in FT-program it shows (6001) as the pid. I've restarted everything and reloaded everything and still no success.
