gdizzle Posted February 17, 2005 Report Posted February 17, 2005 Having a really hard time deciding, but it looks like I will be in the market for one of the other in the near future. I have always wanted both of these cars since I was young. Both are about the same price, the TVR in good cond. runs a bit more. Has a TR6 motor with a 4 spd. trans. Yes it has the lucas electronics, but that can be fixed. The M is a bit on the pricey side to maintain but it kicks so much a$$! Here is a pic of the TVRs I am looking at.
shedpress Posted February 17, 2005 Report Posted February 17, 2005 Although the TVR would be crazy fun, I think the M3 is the H4WtN355!!111111
gdizzle Posted February 17, 2005 Author Report Posted February 17, 2005 Also the insurance might be better on the TVR since it's a classic.
WhiteT5 Posted February 17, 2005 Report Posted February 17, 2005 Dude, TVR's break like every 15 minutes. Plus, you know how hard it would be to get parts for a car like that. I say either get another Volvo or get the Bimmer.
orange850t Posted February 17, 2005 Report Posted February 17, 2005 DO not give up hope.......I vote other

Yes it will break down a lot, but isn't that joy of a car like that?
gdizzle Posted February 17, 2005 Author Report Posted February 17, 2005 DO not give up hope.......I vote other←I don't have 40k to drop on a catterham right now, if I did I would! :)
orange850t Posted February 17, 2005 Report Posted February 17, 2005 I guess.................I think with some junkyard mechanics you could complete the kit for alot less.
Mesoam Posted February 17, 2005 Report Posted February 17, 2005 go w/ the TVR and some Haggerty (sp?) insurance
gdizzle Posted February 17, 2005 Author Report Posted February 17, 2005 go w/ the TVR and some Haggerty (sp?) insurance←I can tell you that I am looking a hell of a lot harder for the M3.... :)
Mesoam Posted February 17, 2005 Report Posted February 17, 2005 how much for the TVR you are looking at...or is that just a generic bunch of IMG's?
