Kinda like that? I don't understand how what Kevin said was anything like that. He tried to make some serious points, then tried to play it off as a 'have a laugh for once'. For your analogy to work, Bernie bros or Clinton supporters would have done the opposite. Instead of protesting, they would have been like 'bah, it's not like we took this that seriously anyway'. 11 minutes ago, Yellow95 said: That kind of speak has no place on VS. These kids on here project themselves as liberals but can accept NOTHING but what they believe in. Everything else irrational in their eyes. A person has the right to believe ANYTHING they want to believe. I don't fault Kevin for not believing it just so happens that I don't share his beliefs. This is a textbook example of strawman fallacy. His point was great, and no one challenged him on it. In fact, someone besides you voted the post up. To keep this topic focused on religion, since you bring up tolerance, should Muslims enjoy the same religious freedom in the US as Catholicism or Mormonism, etc? No additional screening at the border, no national database, and ability to build their place of worship anywhere they can buy?
Chilled man
Unquestionable faith is the epitome of Ignorance. Repeat a lie often enough it becomes the truth. Religion is a cancer on humanity. How old does your magic book say the earth is? How long does your magic book say humans have been around ? :D On 12/23/2016 at 1:50 PM, Fudge_Brownie said: To keep this topic focused on religion, since you bring up tolerance, should Muslims enjoy the same religious freedom in the US as Catholicism or Mormonism, etc? No. They prove over and over all over the world why they should be trusted the least of all religious groups. :D
