RBoy8
Our household has two yellow T-5Rs, one magic blue on Atacama m66 06 SR, and one red on tan S70 T5 SE. All of our P80s are auto, but we know the story on the yellows. Interesting story on my father's one though. I don't remember the full details, but from what I recall, his has a very early build date, and it has an X in the VIN. We did a quick lookup and found that in the history, someone from Volvo Canada HQ was the first owner. When I get home, I'll see if I can dig up the info or speak to my dad about it. Will post my findings! I don't know much on P2s but I've been told that magic blue on Atacama with an M66 is pretty hard to come by. My brother also had to hold out for quite a while before finding one. I don't think the S70 T5 SE is that rare in Canada, but from what I understand, it wasn't available in the States? They're super duper common in black and silver, but I've noticed that the red is becoming a bit harder to come by.

I've never heard of a t5 SE, what makes it different from a regular t5?

It came with stitched leather door panels, aluminum door sills, wood trim, fog lights, spoiler, alcantara/leather seats, SC-900 HU w/amp, etc etc.

Timbo Slice
We have the SE's in the US and they came as an upgrade for both the GLT and T5 models. They are just extremely difficult to come by.

Burn-E
"SE" was a VCNA effort to create another level of premium packaging for the T5 and GLT models to enhance sales of accessories and push up the average sale price on the cars.

Yea I think it's similar to the "Classic" designation on the last model year of a given series where Volvo equips the cars with a bunch of extra accessories. In Sweden at least for the 70 series they also did something called the "black line" where all of the interiors came with Black Marble trim. And that was interesting to learn about Nautic Blue coming on 850s. I'll have to look out for that!
Kevin.
yeah, Prezden (mike) had a nautic 850 NA. Almost 100% confident that it was available from 97 onwards, I've seen a few nautic 850's but there's not many around

He swapped his NA Auto to manual  remember? he did pretty much every bolt on imginable and on the dyno he peaked at 136 hp. lol

woah4
I'll check in for some rare points, I had a Canada delivered 96 855 T5M, dark green on beige Cloth seats, with moonroof, I did a T5R interior swap in it in this picture but it came cloth and my current daily is my 427 over charcoal 2002 C70 T5, factory M56 car. Nope she's grey, just doesn't show very well in most pictures. what is the GT interior? I'm not familiar with that term, it does have the Dynaudio stereo and in trunk cd changer, previous owner says it was also built with the comets and eggcrate grille from the factory, I'm not sure how true that is but he seemed very knowledgable and owned the car for over 10 years
