I'm not familiar with that term, it does have the Dynaudio stereo and in trunk cd changer, previous owner says it was also built with the comets and eggcrate grille from the factory, I'm not sure how true that is but he seemed very knowledgeable and owned the car for over 10 years GT Interior: Later C70s did come with the "XC" grille and Comets from the factory. Ok thanks, I'm assuming I don't have GT then as these are my seats. Apparently it has sport suspension as well and does ride rougher than the other P80's I have owned but I'm not sure what that includes either. Timbo Slice
Next time you get a chance, take a pic and upload what suspension components you find. Your car seems to sit quite a bit lower than stock, though I don't recall any OE Sport Suspension options on these cars.

The C70 coupé was available with three different suspension setups. Standard suspension (also referred to as 'comfort' suspension in some brochures) was standard. Sport suspension (also referred to as 'dynamic' suspension) was an option and consists of different dampers and springs which lower the car ~30mm. Rear Nivomats with front standard suspension were the second option, comes with different rear springs. A bit confusing is that the above suspensions are what a customer could choose when ordering a car. Depending on the engine and gearbox choice the standard suspension changed. Most C70 coupés with the T5 engine were equipped with a sport suspension from the factory ([...] with suspension dynamic[...]) which is different from the optional sport suspension. Non optional sport susp. = sport suspension, okay ride height | optional sport susp. = more sport suspension, low ride height. Nivomats are the usual thing. Good to have when using the optional, dealer installed tow hitch (fixed or removable version).

I guess I'll just have to see what's under it, I have to pull the front struts soon anyway to do the strut mounts and spring seats, I will likely upgrade them to XC90 at that point

There were OE sport suspension options (i.e. Ohlins) but depending on the mileage it may not have the original components on it. This is what a stock suspension on a C70 looks like:
Timbo Slice
Yeah that's entirely too high for that car. I know Ohlins were offered, and given that OP said the guy he bought his coupe from was the original owner and mentioned that it's still sitting on the factory sport suspension, I'm curious as to what components are there. 45 minutes ago, Burn-E said: Before I bought Josh's I almost bought a 2001 427 C70 M56 with 32k miles on it. I always wondered where your car originated.
