I'm 17, and I know that by the time I reach retirement age, I will have paid much of my income into Social Security. I also know that I won't be getting any benefits. Social Security can't be rescued and, honestly, I don't really care anymore. It's all a bunch of PR crap that will end with the fund going bankrupt, just like analysts are saying it will.
