Because in the land of Smog-Nazi California, cars like this get impounded if you get caught driving them on the street. The car has not been street legal since 2007. ultra_runner Posted July 12, 2016 Author Report Share Posted July 12, 2016 Here in California there is a visual inspection. Nothing from the Intake (actually post-MAF) to post CAT can be modified. Oh, and you need a California CAT which is the same CAT with a number stamped on it that runs $250 more. Guy tried to fail me for having a wideband O2 sensor on the DP.
