S60 worth getting?

Thinking of adding a 2009-2012 S60 T5 to the collection in a few months (currently have 97 850R and 97 850GLT)

They look awesome!  Anybody have some tips and advice on them?  What are the R models like?  Is AWD worth it?  How is the T6? Easy to work on?  Are they as dependable as my 850?

Thanks!

09 is a P2 S60, P3 S60 started in 2011, no 2010 model year. T6 are peppy, R design has a little bit more horsepower (15 over T6), probably won't notice the difference. Aesthetically, they look great though. I think AWD was only available on the T6 until 2013, I have yet to see a T5 before 2013 MY that had AWD. AWD is great if you need it in inclement weather, but if you live in a place that has no snow might not be worth it, more of a preference at that point unless you like to drive aggressively then it will come in handy as well.

As far as reliability, lots of more electronics and due to it being CANBus, everything is intertwined with modules compared to an older 850. Pretty easy to work on as far as maintenance stuff. If it's a T5 it's still a 5 cylinder whiteblock, just a RNC motor, compared to a RN of a P2 or N engine on a 850. 6 cylinder is a whole different thing with the READ and belt drive being in the rear near the trans.
