woah4 Posted December 20, 2016 Report Share Posted December 20, 2016 Hey everyone, I have a question, I have a 2001 V70 XC and a 2005 V70 awd, and would like to swap the suspension between the two cars before I scrap the XC, I know that the XC is Viscous Coupling and the V70 is haldex, but can I still swap all the other components of the suspension to give the V70 the additional ride height? I know the front end should be fairly easy... struts, control arms, axles (interchangeable?) and maybe tie rod ends / sway bar links? But I am wondering what differences if any there are in the rear that would prevent me from swapping to the XC style in the back, but with the V70 rear subframe and diff.... cheers, Billy Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

woah4 Posted December 21, 2016 Author Report Share Posted December 21, 2016 20 hours ago, Ol' Dirty Noodle said: Lookup the p/n's and cross reference them I appreciate the reply, but part numbers are of little use to me as I know they aren't the same, the suspension is very different, but I'm wondering whether or not it will all swap over and work, my 2005 has a low ride height awd car, looks the same as a fwd and most of the front end parts are the same as fwd cars, but my XC uses longer control arms and everything to get the extra ride height, which is why I'm wondering whether or not I can just swap everything into the V70 out of the XC and get the XC ride height Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
