Ten Years

So I've been a member 10 years, and my one Volvo I've had the entire time is still not where I want it to be.

I lack motivation, yes, and I am to blame.  Just wondering if anyone else has this problem.

12 years and almost one month (Feb. 6th) as a member for me... and only now am I starting on the fun vroom vroom engine mods.

With all the Carlisles, shens, meets, that's gone on in that time, it's been pretty good so far I guess. :')

Almost 7 for me.

The red S70 isn't mine but is still in the family and I still have a ton of crap to do to it..

The XC90 was totaled by whoever bought it (found it in the local pull-a-part last summer)

and the R is where I want it...Reasonably Running and recently passed emissions (somehow)

Think I passed 10 years in January...

Had the 2000 S70M at that time, put 260,000kms on, it died and was replaced by a 2000 V70

Bought my 1997 850M in 2011, totalled it in 2014

Had a brief 1 year ownership of a 2007 S40 2.4i 5 speed, sold that

Bought my 2005 V50 2.4i A/T almost 2 years ago, piling on mileage and keeping it alive

Have a 1999 S70M sitting with a leaking rad while I daily my 2000 Jetta TDI

Lots of Volvos with one BMW in there, can't believe it's been 10 years since I spiked a screwdriver through the oil cartridge (trying to get the filter off) in the 2000 S70 and had to create an account and figure out what to do...:a-farmboy:

Its because you keep them WAY too long.  ;)  Honestly looks finished to me.  Don't see how you could improve it at this point.  Maybe douche it out a little?  ;)

Part of me really wants that '99 you have... but I have no room v_v.

Btw, I don't see you during my morning commutes anymore!

The '99 needs work...it's a bit of a project but if you're looking for a manual swap donor it's almost perfect. It's with me at the office in Brampton if you ever want to take a look...

I moved way out to Guelph and don't drive the wagon (my girlfriend's car now)

11 yrs for me at the end of this month.

98 v70 (scrapped)

99 xc70 (sold, totaled, then rebuilt from the 98v)

98 v70r still in my garage. Still going back and forth on selling or keeping

98 s70T5 SE sold to mother in law who destroyed it. And then sold it with out telling me.

And then hen a bunch of other non volvos. Currently a 2015 outback is my ride.

Surprising it's been this long.

I think it's unfair to say it's not where the car is where you want it to be... because these kinds of projects are never where you want them to be.  It's a moving target.

Totally willing to hang out and help motivate.  We are doing an M66 AWD 98 wagon here for a guy in Beaumont.

Say when!
