Lowering Springs for S40

I recently got my hands on a 2005 Volvo S40 T5 and love it to bits.

I noticed when it was parked next to my mate's Alfa 156 GTA that it was sitting a tad high and thought it could do with some lowering coils.

I don't want to got he coil-over route as I think it may sacrifice too much in the ride comfort department.

 

Any advise on this? What can look for? I hear that quite a bit of the Ford Focus ST parts are compatible?
