Speaker wire adapters for 98 V70 front door speakers?

Both the front and rear door speakers were (as of September 2018) unavailable from Volvo (list price >$100, each).

That that seems to leave either used speakers that are just as old as mine,  or 6.5 inch aftermarket speakers ($10 each?) as the remaining options. Adapting aftermarket speakers for the rear door speakers looks easy enough -- the terminals are part of the speaker mounting frame, which I would re-use with aftermarket replacement speakers, soldering the aftermarket speaker leads to the Volvo frame.

However, on the front door speakers, the terminals appear to be part of the speaker itself, and not the frame that the speaker is glued to, so reusing the mounting frames requires either an adapter subharness or splicing the standard aftermarket speaker wires into the Volvo speaker wires.

It looks like adapters that are supposed to work are available from the UK and fleabay UK. (Glancing at some of the shipping charges, I'm not sure that they really want to sell to the US.)

Has anyone found adapters that will work that are available in the US? I'd prefer not to cut into the car's speaker wiring harness and also prefer not to pay more for shipping adapters (that might or might not work) than for all the speakers.
